By Licensing a Composition you Agree to the Following Terms

Desert View Records offers per track licensing, a subscription plan and a custom section to suit your needs. Plan dependant, you will have access to use our music for Personal or Professional/Commercial use.

*All tracks are watermarked. The watermark will be removed when you license the track

 

FAQ's

Can I monetize my work with this license?

Certainly, your licensing plan covers unlimited income generated from music use. As long as the music is used to enhance  content.

 

Does the license cover commercial work?

Our TV/Film plans are custom made,  include use for commercial projects, whereas our Socials/Marketing only covers personal projects for you and your small business (both allow for monetary gain).

 

How long is my license valid?

Once you have licensed a track from Desert View Records your license is covered for use to enhance video content.  Refunds of licensed work are bound by Desert View Records' terms and conditions. They state that we can't provide refunds for any subscription that's automatically renewed and hasn't been cancelled.

 

Can I get a single-song license?

Yes, once you have subscribed to Desert View Records, you can license a single-song license for exclusive use. If you have not subscribed, single-use contracts are availible to license - contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

 

Is the music royalty-free?

Yes, social media creators will be able to make unlimited use of the music works without having to pay Artists royalties - Royalties are paid out by music rights organizations so be sure to include the ISRC code, where & when asked, for your projects when publishing and contact us for that metadata if you need it at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We do ask that you tag us on Social Media and list the track info when posting, where applicable. ie: Colombian Coffee - Desert View Records. In the instance of national use we ask to purchase a single-use license. 

 

What am I prohibited from doing?

You are prohibited from re-releasing onto DSP's, covering, using for audio-only, uploading works to other online music libraries, and presenting this music work, or any part thereof, as your own as the ownership rights remain with Desert View Records unless an exclusive use agreement is entered.
